This role is with a major public sector organisation based in Edinburgh. The organisation requires an experienced data engineer to aid in the creation of a data warehouse which will enhance their data analysis capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed

The following skills are essential for this role:

Python

PostgreSql

REST APIs

Modern DevOps, CI/CD practices: Docker, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, CDK, Cloud Formation

Experience in SQL, data transformation and analysis

Experience implementing data ETLs, data streaming systems, data integration solutions

The following skills are desirable for this role:

Data warehousing

OpenShift

TDD
