Music Teacher Vacancy – Stockport

Are you a fully qualified Music teacher based in or near Stockport? Do you have experience teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 students? If so, we want to hear from you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a secondary school in Stockport, where we are helping them recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Music teacher. The school is passionate about integrating music into the curriculum to inspire students and develop their creativity, confidence, and love for the arts.

While prior experience in teaching is preferred, the school is also open to considering newly qualified teachers who show a strong drive and commitment to professional growth. This is a full-time position that includes delivering lessons, planning engaging activities, and assessing students' progress.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Has recent experience teaching within the UK curriculum.

Holds qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK.

Can effectively manage and engage a classroom.

Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the KS3/4 music curriculum.

Is able to inspire and motivate students through music.

Has strong communication and lesson delivery skills.

Is proactive in lesson planning and preparation.
