Job Description

Job Title: Technical Manager

Location: Various locations across the Anglian region

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers to help deliver a range of nitrate removal projects across the Anglian Framework.

Responsibilities:

Lead Engineering Design: Oversee the delivery of engineering designs for nitrate removal projects, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs.

Project Planning: Create and manage comprehensive Engineering Project Plans, covering scope, schedule, cost, risks, and resource allocation.

Stakeholder Focus: Deliver designs that meet the needs of end-users, with due consideration for safety, environmental impact, construction, procurement, and Anglian Water Operations.

Team Leadership: Lead project engineering design meetings, driving accountability and fostering collaboration across the team.

Health and Safety: Follow CDM Regulations. Proactively recognise health, safety, and welfare concerns within the team. Engage appropriate resources or support systems to address and manage identified issues effectively.

Qualification

A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Essential experience with water-sector assets and capital project delivery.

Proven experience in managing suppliers and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.Desired

Experience with nitrate removal schemes

Chartered status, or actively working towards it, is desirable.

Experience in a Design & Build environment is beneficial but not required
