Job Description

Our client based in Scotland's Central Belt and one of the largest Naval Shipbuilding companies in the world are looking for a number Senior QC Inspectors with NDT PAUT qualifications for a minimum 6 month contract.

In this role you will be carrying out PAUT structural inspection and acceptance of ship structures, where qualified you will also be expected carry out MP, LP and UT inspections as well as managing the ITR inspection regime and maintaining completions records.

To be considered for one of these role you will have completed an apprenticeship in Welding and Fabrication or Marine Engineering, have a minimum of PCN Level 2 PAUT. Any of following additional qualifications would be advantageous CSWIP 3:1, MT, PT and UT (3.8/3.9), you will also have excellent knowledge and proven experience of conducting PAUT inspections and you must also be able to read and interpret engineering / construction drawings

This is a PAYE role

Hours of work are 36 per week Monday to Thursday

You must be able to pass BPSS and a DBS and further down the line SC Clearance
