Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager looking for your next freelance opportunity? We have an exciting role available in Glasgow City Centre with a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor on a large groundworks project.

Position: Freelance Civils Site Manager

Location: Glasgow City Centre

Rate: Up to £300 per day

Start Date: Immediate

Key Requirements:

* SMSTS Certification (essential)

* First Aid Certificate (preferable)

* Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in groundworks projects

* Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to site management

* Ability to liaise effectively with the project team and subcontractors to ensure safety and quality standards are met

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the groundworks project

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

* Coordinate subcontractors and workforce, ensuring work aligns with project timelines

* Monitor progress and quality, identifying any issues early to minimize delays
