Job Title: MASH Social Worker

Location: Southampton

Rate: Up to £42 per hour

Contract Type: Locum, Full-time

Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Join the dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Southampton and help protect vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and manage referrals in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.

Work closely with police, health, and other professionals to ensure timely interventions.

Analyse complex information to inform safeguarding decisions.

Complete Child and Family Assessments where appropriate.

Provide a swift, robust response to referrals ensuring that children are kept safe.

Requirements:

Social Work England (SWE) registration.

Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in children's services, ideally within MASH or safeguarding teams.

Strong understanding of safeguarding thresholds, legislation, and policies.

Ability to manage complex cases with a high level of autonomy.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.
