Role: Planner / Project Controls Engineer

Sector: Renewable Energy

Location: Northwest England

Start Date: January 2025

Duration: 12 - 18 months possible extension

Requirements: Full UK Working Rights; 2 References required at interview, up to date relevant certs

Day to Day Duties

Responsible for the development of the project controls infrastructure.

Directs performance measurement activities on all facets of the project - Engineering, Contracts, Materials and Equipment Procurement and Construction.

Performs schedule optimisation, studies and cost-benefit analyses.

Provides technical and operational direction to project controls staff.

Reviews and approves all project cost forecasts and progress reports.

Reviews draft construction contracts for adequacy of cost and schedule requirements.Requirements

Engineering Degree Preferred

E&I contracting experience is essential

Experience in E&I planning is essential

Proficient in using project planning software Primavera P3 & P6.

Proven track record with major projects

Ability to implement cost control measures
