Job title: Procurement Specialist- Flexible packaging

Location/Hybrid: Slough/ 2 days working on site, 3 days working from home

Duration: 9 months

Rate: £183.47 - £371.52

Travel: There will be occasional travel to Europe

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for flexible packaging. Position Overview:

This role will manage a significant category spend, implementing strategies that focus on value creation, supply security, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance, to deliver impactful results. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and delivering cost savings, efficiency improvements, and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and executing sourcing strategies.

• Managing the RFI/RFP/e-Auction process.

• Conducting complex data analysis and financial modelling.

• Negotiating with suppliers and managing relationships.

• Leading change management initiatives.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc in Business or related field.

• Previous experience in procurement, specifically in flexible packaging sourcing.

• Experience working within FMCG, Food manufacturing etc

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Experience with commodity markets and price mitigation strategies.

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results.
