Who We Are Looking For:
Skilled Carpenters
Skilled carpenters will bring their expertise to a variety of luxury boat projects, meticulously crafting bespoke features within cabins, kitchens, and bathrooms. Collaborating within dedicated teams, you'll work with premium materials and exquisite finishes, ensuring each project exudes sophistication and craftsmanship.
Key Skills:
Proven experience in carpentry and joinery, particularly in outfitting kitchens, bedrooms, or bathrooms.
Expertise in bench joinery or similar roles.
A passion for delivering precision and luxury through superior craftsmanship.
Semi-Skilled Carpenters
For those building their careers, semi-skilled carpenters will contribute to key production stages, crafting larger components like bulkheads and engaging in foundational fit-out work. With opportunities for growth and mentorship, you'll become an integral part of the production process.
Key Skills:
Basic carpentry knowledge, with experience in construction or fit-out work.
Eagerness to develop skills and contribute to early production stages.
Responsibilities for All Roles:
Panel spraying, CNC machinery operation, joinery, and furniture assembly.
Handling diverse materials, including plywood, softwood, vinyl, leather, and soft furnishings.
Equipped with provided power tools; individuals must bring personal hand tools such as screwdrivers, tape measures, and levels.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proficient in reading and interpreting scaled technical drawings (1:10).
Committed to excellence and meticulous in precision work.
Displays a coachable attitude and a drive for continuous improvement.
Scribing experience is a plus.
able to work to tight tolerence (0.5mm)
Work Schedule & Pay Rates:
Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:00
Weekend overtime opportunities available
Pay Rates (Effective from 4th March 2024):
Semi-Skilled: £14.00 p/h PAYE
Skilled: £15.05 - £16.05 p/h PAYE
Nights: £20.06 - £21.40 p/h PAYE
Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates
