The Role

This is a hybrid role, blending technical expertise with stakeholder engagement. As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud-based data platforms. Collaborating with the Data Architect and Business Intelligence (BI) teams, you’ll ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Designing and maintaining data models and pipelines to support regulatory and operational activities.

Managing cloud-based data platforms, including Common Data Models (CDMs) and Semantic Data Models (SDMs).

Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.

Driving development through Azure DevOps and Git source control within CI/CD pipelines.

Ensuring data integrity, security, and thorough documentation.

Essential Skills:

Proven ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.

Expertise in SQL and T-SQL, with a strong focus on query optimisation and large-scale data processing.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, data integration tools, and database management.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
