The Role
As interim Quality Services Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the technical services team, ensuring the effective support of production, quality assurance, and R&D teams.
* Oversee the technical processes across production, ensuring all systems, processes, and products comply with relevant food safety standards and certifications such as BRC, HACCP, and ISO.
* Develop and implement technical procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to resolve technical issues and improve product specifications.
* Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for any product quality issues or customer complaints.
* Support the NPD (New Product Development) process by providing technical expertise in the development of new products and improvements to existing lines.
* Ensure that all technical documentation, including specifications, certifications, and records, are maintained and up to date.
* Monitor and analyse key technical performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that quality and operational standards are being met, reporting results to senior management.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the business remains compliant and competitive.
