Job Description

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented Local Authority Transformation Programme Director on a Contract basis.

This role will lead on the development of the Council's Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring it aligns with the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS).

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

Reform and lead transformation across frontline, corporate support and front door, demand management, service redesign and income generation.

Direct all aspects of operating model to deliver a route map for operating mode.

Ensure that the operating model identifies phases for implementation.

Direct the development of cases for change - business cases, blueprints, options appraisals and benefits realised

Ensures continued programme governance and control, underpinned by programme management of all aspects of the Operating Model implementationAbout you:

You will have the following experiences:

Experience of developing and implementing operating models and high value, strategic transformation programmes from business case through to benefits realisation in a Local Authority environment

Experience of influencing and of effective stakeholder engagement

Experience of working with a formal programme management governance and assurance framework, chairing programme boards and steering groups and ensuring appropriate documentation

Applied understanding of transformational methodologies and budget management

Local Authority experience is essential.What's on offer:

Salary: £800-£1000 per day, inside IR35*negotiable based on experience
