Calling for a Data Coordinator for a remote contract opportunity!
Our client, based in Coventry, is urgently looking for a Commercial Data Coordinator to join their team.
The role will initially run till end of March 2025 with likelihood to extend.
The Data Coordinator will be responsible for leading and developing the example strategy, ensuring a compliant approach which is aligned with best practice. You’ll also develop a team and engage with external stakeholders to drive the vision.
As a Data Coordinator, deliverable tasks will include:
* Supporting with the migration and reconciliation of material orders in D365.
* Working closely with the P2P Project Team and the Professional Buyers to ensure accuracy of purchasing data.
* Supporting the Junior Buyers to raise blanket purchase orders, ensuring alignment with agreed ways of working.
* Support the creation of standard processes and working templates for the Homes team to improve ways of working.
* Identify poor quality data and raise to the Homes and commercial teams to agree business rules on rectification of the data.
* Collaborate with the IT team to ensure where possible data can be cleansed electronically.
* Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data mapped, migrated, and reconciled through collaboration with the project team on data quality measure.
* Ensure approach to data includes appropriate controls, and is in accordance with client policies, and Group standing orders.
* Raising blanket orders that align to the agreed ways of working and facilitate invoicing / payment to suppliers.
* Support with goods receipting and management of the Pending Supplier Invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment to suppliers
* Establish and maintain great relationships with the teams (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance and Suppliers)
* Supporting the Junior Buyers to embed the new ways of working within the teams for both new and existing orders
Skills and experience required:
* Good level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* You should have good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to review information and determine the best approach.
* An eye for detail
* Ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines
* Great interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across the business
* The desire to learn and develop
