DEMOLITION CONTRACTS MANAGER

Location: Hounslow

Rate: £30 per hour PAYE (Holiday accrual + pension eligibility)

Overtime: X 1.5 after working 39 hours in the week.

Shift Hours: 11 hours per day

My client is currently in the market for an experienced Demolition Contracts Manager to join on a project in the Hounslow area.

DEMOLITION CONTRACTS MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, manage, and deliver the demolition works from start to completion.
• Oversee all site activities, Providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and correctly.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for compliance and submit regular progress reports, including any issues or delays
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are met, resolving any issues that arise promptly.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of earthmoving crews, including equipment operators, labourers, and other workers.
• Conduct regular team meetings and briefings to communicate project updates and safety protocols.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of resource usage and inventory levels.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with workers, site managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time, including timesheets, permits, and inspection reports.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

DEMOLITION CONTRACTS MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience managing large demolition projects.
• Has worked in a similar role previously
• Strong knowledge of demolition health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration.

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management or Demolition Equivalent
• SMSTS certification.
• Black CSCS Card/CCDO Card
