Senior Site Manager - Bank - Temp - main contracting background - Façade / envelope work

6 months work, start either first week back in January or 1-2 weeks before Xmas - the role will be until June 2025.

Picture the scene: a beautiful winter's, alpine sunny day in London, a company is carrying out a £40m cut & carve project nr Bank station. The structure is complete, facade near completion, and full steam ahead on the Cat A fit-out. There are 130 people on the site and there is a requirement for an additional senior site manager to join a team of 4 other site managers.

The company (main contractor) needs a good senior site manager (from a main contracting background (rather than a solely façade / envelope sub-contract one) to look after the façade install.

The ole requires someone with good façade technical knowledge, will be dealing with 8 different trades in a small area, design details not great (need to be reworked). It's a small lump of work, but will be challenging. Need to be capable of chairing design and coordination meetings.

You would be responsible for the whole of the ground floor façade, which is being replaced, and then will look after the groundworks, paving, bike racks etc. The cladding is Rainscreen, Terra Cotta, Metsec, granite paving and planters.

So, in an ideal world, they want someone that can look after the facades on their own - here's 30 drawings, 12 subbies - over to you.
