Band 8a Vascular Sonographer – Locum Role

Location: Buckinghamshire

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8a Vascular Sonographer to join a leading healthcare team in Buckinghamshire on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with expertise in vascular imaging to contribute to a high-quality diagnostic service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of advanced vascular ultrasound scans, including arterial and venous studies.

Assess, diagnose, and report findings independently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in vascular sonography.

Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

HCPC registration or equivalent.

Proven experience as a vascular sonographer, ideally at Band 8a level.

Competence in a range of vascular studies, including duplex ultrasound.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Commitment to maintaining professional development and high standards of practice.
