Interim Financial Accountant - Warwick (6-Month Contract, On-Site)

A prestigious Plc company based in Warwick is seeking a Qualified Interim Financial Accountant to join their team for a 6-month contract, starting in January 2025. This role is on-site, 5 days a week and offers a fantastic opportunity to support a leading business with the preparation of financial statements during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
Assist with month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
Provide support during audit processes and respond to audit queries as required.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), with strong experience in financial accounting.
Proven experience in preparing financial statements in a Plc or large corporate environment.
In-depth knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting software.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
