The Education Network is working with a school in South Tyneside that are seeking a cover supervisor to join their team as soon as possible up until the Easter holidays.
Role overview: You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare or teach anything, you would be expected to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and ensure the class are staying on task with their work, mananging the classroom and helping the student's with their work as and when you can.
All we ask is that you:- Have experience of working with children/young people within the past 2 years
- Have a valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
- Have at least two referees (including at least one child-based reference)
- Are passionate about education and are passionate about helping our North East children to reach their full potential!
