A mainstream secondary school in Birmingham are looking for an dedicated and experienced PE Teacher who will contribute to the wider success of the school and join their Physical Education Department on a short term basis. You should be comfortable taking on a flexible timetable which will include teaching Key Stages 3 to 4. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress.

You will be expected to have a good knowledge of the national curriculum and be a dedicated and committed PE Teacher. Experience teaching BTEC sport isn t essential but is highly desirable.

There may be opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as part of this post!

The successful PE teacher will have:

• QTS (QTLS will also be considered)
• Experience in the sports coaching and/ or education sector
• 12 months experience of teaching PE to Key Stage 4
• Have the ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
• Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
