Senior Site Manager (Freelance – 6 Months)

Location: Crewe

Contract: Freelance, 6 Months

Start Date: Dec 2024

Rate: Competitive

We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Manager to join our team for a 6-month freelance role on an exciting project in Crewe. The successful candidate must have proven experience managing both internal fit-out and external works. The project is a £20 million commercial development - which has a facade replacement as well as a high spec fitout.

About the Role:

As the Senior Site Manager, you will take the lead on-site operations, overseeing all aspects of the project to ensure smooth delivery. From coordinating internal fit-out activities to managing external works, you will play a pivotal role in achieving project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

* Coordinate and manage subcontractors across internal and external works.

* Conduct regular site inspections to maintain the highest quality and safety standards.

* Manage schedules, ensuring timely progress and mitigating delays.

* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure alignment with objectives.

* Prepare and monitor health and safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior site management role with expertise in both internals (fit-out) and externals (landscaping, facades, groundwork, etc.).

* Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certification are required.

* Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.

* Location: Ability to commute to Crewe.
