Catering Supervisor (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £34,011 to £38,198 per annum, inclusive.

Reports to: Head Chef

Responsible for: 2–3 Catering Assistants

A prestigious organisation dedicated to advancing public and global health is seeking a Catering Supervisor (Maternity Cover) to join its Catering team within the Estates department.

The Catering Supervisor will be involved in all aspects of catering services, including food preparation, food service, till operation, barista coffee-making, food hygiene, and other responsibilities associated with operating retail units.

As part of the catering team, the Catering Supervisor will ensure the delivery of high-quality food service and an exceptional dining experience.

Essential qualifications and skills include:

* NVQ Level 2 qualification in professional cookery.

* Food hygiene certification.

* Experience managing a team and delivering excellent customer service.

* A good level of numeracy for cash handling.

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

* Barista training.

* Understanding of allergy requirements.

The post is full-time (35 hours per week, 1 FTE) and fixed-term until 30 November 2025.
