Infrastructure Specialist

Contract | €300-€360/day | Cork | Onsite

A client of mine is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join their team in Cork. This role involves managing and optimizing IT systems, contributing to infrastructure projects, and ensuring high availability of services.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain server and network infrastructure.

Manage virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Support cloud solutions, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

Monitor and enhance system performance and availability.

Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, providing Level 3 support.

Contribute to the design and implementation of IT security measures.

Participate in infrastructure upgrade and migration projects.Requirements:

6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

Experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure.

Familiarity with Linux is an advantage.

Strong expertise in virtualization platforms and storage solutions.
