Staff Accountant (Excel)
Peterlee, County Durham
24 - 27 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities

Excellent opportunity for an Accountant who is looking for a varied role working in a close knit team with a market leading company on a long term 12 month contract.

Do you have a good general accounting background including month end and reconciliations? Are you looking for a long term contract while working with a company who are an international market leader in their specialist sector?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working within a team where you will be responsible for general accounting and analysis of company accounts using Excel. You will be responsible for month end accounting as well as working with reconciliations in multiple accounts. The company are transitioning to a SAP system so previous experience with this would be preferred but not essential. This role is working 36.5 hours a week Monday to Friday with a lunchtime finish on Fridays.

The Role:

• Varied role working with an established corporate accounting team
• Completing a range of month end accounting and reconciliation work
• Long term 12 month contract working with a market leading company

The Person:

• Previous experience working with month end accounting and reconciliation
• Hold suitable qualifications or accounting experience, SAP experience preferred
• Looking for a long term 12 month contract with extension opportunities
