Job Advert: Sports Coach (with Teaching Assistant Responsibilities)

Location: Islington, London

Start Date: 3rd January 2025

Duration: Half a term (6 weeks) - Short-term

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Sanza Teaching Agency is excited to partner with an outstanding independent school in the London Borough of Islington to recruit a dedicated and experienced Sports Coach. This dynamic role involves a combination of teaching PE and providing classroom support across a range of age groups.

Role Overview:

Afternoons: Deliver engaging and age-appropriate PE lessons to students from Nursery to Year 5, promoting teamwork, physical fitness, and skill development.

Mornings: Support as a Teaching Assistant, working closely with teachers to assist in classroom activities across EYFS to Year 5.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience teaching sports/PE to children.

Strong behaviour management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

A passion for working with children, both in the classroom and on the sports field.

Enthusiasm, dedication, and a readiness to make an immediate impact in the role.
