Role: Maths Teacher

Location: SEND Setting, Northampton

Contract: Temp with potential for Perm Opportunity

Salary: £28,060 - £39,300 per annum (dependant on teacher pay scale)

If yes, we have the perfect role for you! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math’s Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring math lessons that cater to the individual needs of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver informative, interesting, and inspiring math lessons.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)for pupils.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Utilize effective behaviour management strategies to support pupils.

• Collaborate with other staff members to support the holistic development of pupils.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) preferred.

• Consideration will also be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications.

• Experience working with pupils with SEN and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties is highly desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
