Join Our Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant in King's Lynn!

Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk

Pay: £13 - £15 Per Hour (Inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay)

Contract: Temp to Perm, Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00)

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit, specialist team in King's Lynn. This role offers the perfect balance of challenge and reward, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while helping students thrive in King's Lynn.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Support Teaching and Learning: Assist individuals, small groups, or the whole class in line with the teacher’s plans.

Create a Positive Learning Environment: Organise and maintain the classroom and learning resources to encourage student participation.

Monitor Progress: Track student achievements and development, providing feedback and support.

Promote Inclusion and Independence: Help students engage with peers, build self-confidence, and work towards their goals.

Provide Care and Support: Support personal care needs as required, including helping with eating, dressing, and toileting.

Be a Role Model: Lead by example, encouraging students to interact positively and work together.

Communication Skills: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Driving Licence: Access to your own vehicle is required to commute to the school in King’s Lynn.
