The Client

Our client is a large award winning social housing main contractor based in Nottingham, who operates around Nottinghamshire, specialising in planned works, re-roofing, EWI, kitchen and bathrooms schemes on behalf of various councils and housing associations.

Job Role

This contract is carrying out the following, these duties will vary depending on the type of work:

• Laying vinyl floors in wet rooms and bathrooms, capped and coved in a mixture of tenanted and void properties

They require the Candidate to perform the below;

• Demonstrate substantial recent relevant experience in Repairs and Maintenance
• Experience of working in domestic properties
• Be able to demonstrate high standards of Customer Excellence
• Determine the material required to carry out effective repairs

The working hours are 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute break, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is 23 per hour Umbrella/CIS. There is on street parking available.

This role will require a successful candidate to travel to Doncaster and Leicester on some occasions, mileage will be paid when travelling to those locations

This position is for 6-12 months.

Requirements

• CSCS card (Preferred)
• Previous experience as a Floor Layer
• Social housing Experience
• Transport
• Own Tools
• Must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
