Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School in Rumney, Cardiff
Contract Type: Casual/Part-time (As and when required by the school)
Salary: ( 83.00 per day - 6.5 hours)

We are supporting a welcoming primary school in Rumney, Cardiff to recruit a Teaching Assistant who can support the school with their cover requirements throughout the year.

We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role will involve providing support to teachers and students across various year groups as needed, adapting to the school's requirements on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, providing support to individual students or small groups as needed.
• Learning Activities: Help prepare and organise learning resources and activities, ensuring a stimulating environment for students.
• Student Engagement: Foster a positive learning atmosphere, encouraging student participation and motivation.
• Behaviour Support: Assist in managing classroom behaviour and implementing strategies to support students' emotional and social development.
• Progress Monitoring: Help track and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers on individual learning needs.
• Flexibility: Be available to support various classes and year groups as required, adapting quickly to different educational settings and needs.

• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
