About the role:

• Support children with diverse learning needs, helping them engage with the curriculum in a tailored, nurturing environment.
• Implement individualized strategies and interventions to support behaviour management, social, emotional, and academic development.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and support team to monitor progress and adjust learning plans to meet each child s unique needs.
• Promote positive interactions and communication among students, fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care, ensuring students receive comprehensive support throughout their school day, both academically and socially.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have the right to work within the UK
• DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
• Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
• Be able to support the teacher in and around the classroom
• Work with small groups of children
