The Role

• As a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific pupil, tailoring support to meet their unique needs and helping them engage fully in classroom activities.
• Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the pupil s educational, social, and emotional development within our inclusive school in Great Bookham, Surrey.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
• Collaborate with Teachers and SENCO to implement personalised strategies.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Encourage and promote independence in learning and personal development.

To succeed as a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, you should:

• Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEN.
• Be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to inclusive education.
• Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Be able to commit to Mon Fri 08 30
