Salary: £90.00 - £105.00 A Day

Contract Type: Part Time - 3 x days a week

Start Date: 9th December 2024

Currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant on a part time basis for a Primary School in Croydon to support their High Needs Provision.

Key Responsibilities: Teaching Assistant - High Needs Provision - West Thornton, Croydon

Support the class teacher in the delivery of individualized learning programs tailored to the needs of students with high needs.

Assist children in their daily activities, both in the classroom and around the school.

Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support to children, promoting inclusion and positive learning experiences.

Work closely with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Help to implement strategies for managing challenging behaviours and support students with personal care needs, as required.

Observe and monitor student progress, reporting back to the class teacher and other staff members.

Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.The Ideal Candidate: Teaching Assistant - High Needs Provision- West Thornton, Croydon

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Patient, kind, and empathetic with a strong desire to make a difference.

A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external specialists.

Adaptable and able to support children with varying needs, including physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
