About the role: Are you a dedicated, passionate individual with experience supporting learning in primary schools? We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving school in Hackney. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone ready to make a real impact in children’s lives. Starting in January 2025, you’ll work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to inspire young minds and support their academic growth.

Application Requirements:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Proven experience in leading small group interventions and whole-class teaching.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for supporting children with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons and interventions in collaboration with teachers.
• Provide high-quality support for students, ensuring they achieve their potential.
• Manage small groups or classes when required, maintaining a productive learning environment.
• Support children with additional needs, using creative strategies to aid their learning.
• Assist in preparing lesson materials, marking work, and contributing to lesson planning.
