The Role

As a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific pupil, tailoring support to meet their unique needs and helping them engage fully in classroom activities.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the pupil’s educational, social, and emotional development within our inclusive school in Great Bookham, Surrey.

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis.

Collaborate with Teachers and SENCO to implement personalised strategies.

Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Encourage and promote independence in learning and personal development.

To succeed as a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, you should:

Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEN.

Be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to inclusive education.

Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Be able to commit to Mon – Fri 08:30 – 15:30
