Job Opportunity: Cover Teacher

Location: Colchester and Surrounding Areas

Pay: £130 - £150 per day

Key Details:

Role: Flexible Cover Teacher positions across multiple secondary schools.

Location: Secondary schools in Colchester and nearby areas.

Pay: £130 - £150 per day, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements: QTS is preferred, but candidates with a degree and proven secondary teaching experience (UK or overseas) are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge: Familiarity with the UK curriculum is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects as a Cover Teacher.

Provide continuity in education during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings within Colchester.

Support students across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5, depending on school requirements.

Uphold school policies and contribute to the learning and development of students.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant degree with secondary teaching experience.

Knowledge of the UK curriculum or transferable teaching skills from international experience is preferred.

A proactive and reliable Cover Teacher who thrives in a dynamic teaching environment.

Willingness to travel to schools within Colchester for daily or longer-term assignments.
