E&I Technician - Contract Opportunity - Minimum 6 months

Location: County Durham

Rate: £37.50-£45.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, weekdays (overtime available)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled E&I Technicians working across multiple floors in a dynamic environment, maintaining and optimizing essential systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Calibration, fault-finding, and installation of various instrumentation, including pressure, flow, temperature, level, and analytical devices.

Proficiency with HART communication systems.

Compliance with ATEX standards, holding a current CompEx 1-4 certification.

Maintenance and repair of motors and motor starters (DOL, Star/Delta, VSD).

Work on electrical distribution systems up to 415V.General Responsibilities:

Adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operation.About You

Time-served professional with demonstrable experience in the chemical or process industries.

Strong technical expertise in either instrumentation or electrical systems, with the ability to adapt across disciplines if required.

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights across multi-floor plant setups.
