Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and organise materials, ingredients, and equipment for practical lessons in both Food and Textiles.

Assist students during practical sessions, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment and materials.

Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the Food and Textile classrooms, following health and safety guidelines.

Manage and monitor stock levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Provide technical support to teachers and students, troubleshooting equipment when necessary.

Support the display of student work and contribute to events such as exhibitions and open evenings.

What We're Looking For:

Technical Expertise: Previous experience in a Food or Textile environment, ideally within an educational setting.

Organised and Reliable: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Safety Conscious: A thorough understanding of health and safety protocols in practical learning environments.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience using sewing machines, embroidery equipment, or kitchen appliances in an educational context.

Knowledge of food hygiene practices and textile handling procedures.

Relevant qualifications in Food Technology, Textiles, or a related field.
