DT Teacher Job at a Comprehensive School in Bridgend.

Your new school

Hays are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology teacher at a large comprehensive school in Bridgend. The leadership team create a welcoming and inclusive environment for the pupils to succeed. They have excellent facilities and high standards of teaching throughout the school.

Your new role

Starting in January, you will be a full-time teacher dealing with a range of lessons and specialising in Product Design and Engineering. You will have responsibilities such as:

  • Teach KS3 - KS4
  • Nurture a range of learning abilities
  • Staff meetings
  • Parent's evenings,
  • Pastoral responsibilities,
  • Planning and preparation of lessons, marking and assessment


    • What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience
  • Experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design
  • Proven track record of helping students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council
  • Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one
