Materials Controller

Basildon

Paying up to £27p/h (Inside IR35)

6-month contract

Responsibilities:

Organising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area.

Track traceability of all production materials and finished goods.

Contributing to the Master Production Schedule

Organising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materials

Ensure build standard integrity is maintained.

Managing works orders for new build and repair activities.

Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule.

Creating shipping documentation

Booking of UK and export shipments via freight forwarders/couriers

Monitoring of shelf-life product & inventory

SAP system issue resolution

Experience required:

Experience of material planning and control environments.

Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly & test environments.

Proficient in the use of email, excel, word, and teams

Proven technical experience, either through qualification or recognized training in a production control environment

Experience of SAP material control
