About the role: As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you’ll step into a well-structured classroom environment where the previous teacher is taking leave due to illness. You will take on a mixed-ability class with no severe challenging behaviour, ensuring a rewarding teaching experience.

This role offers you the chance to deliver a rich and engaging curriculum, with a focus on excellence across all subjects. Key areas include:"

• White Rose Maths for building confident numeracy skills.

• Talk for Writing to nurture creativity and language development.

• A secondary-school-style approach to foundation subjects such as science, geography, and the arts, allowing for in-depth and exciting exploration.

Collaboration is key at this school, with shared planning supported by Assistant Headteachers (AHTs). Enjoy a strong focus on well-being, including flexibility to work from home and no requirement to attend all staff meetings. With excellent coaching and CPD opportunities, this role starts in February 2025, with an earlier start possible.
