Band 3 Locum Pharmacy Assistant Required ASAP - South London - NHS Hospital

Start Date: December 2024
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (60-minute break)
Pay Rate: £14.65 - £16 per hour (via PAYE Direct Engagement)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in the inpatient dispensary, assisting with the preparation and distribution of medication to patients.
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Manage and maintain stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
• Follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines in line with NHS protocols.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is ideal, but not essential.
• NHS hospital experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Additional Information:

• This role is based within a hospital environment and will be crucial in supporting the inpatient dispensary team.
• You will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break each day.
• The role is offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.65 - £16 per hour, paid via DE.
