Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable General Foreman/Supervisor to oversee a small team (3-4 workers) on an exciting balcony renovation project. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the job, ensuring high-quality work, safety standards, and efficient completion of the tasks involved.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 workers, providing clear instructions, support, and motivation throughout the project.
• Ripping and Removal: Oversee the removal of existing groundfloor balcony materials, ensuring safe and efficient disposal.
• Drainage Work: Supervise the installation and re-surfacing of drainage systems to ensure proper water flow and prevention of future issues.
• Finishing Work: Ensure quality finishing, including but not limited to tiling, waterproofing, and any additional surface treatments required to complete the project.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a high standard of health and safety on site, ensuring that all team members are following the necessary guidelines and that all tools and equipment are used correctly.
• Scheduling & Reporting: Coordinate work schedules, track progress, and report any issues or delays to management.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role, ideally in construction, renovation, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of balcony renovations, drainage systems, and finishing works.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and documents.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
