Reception Teaching Assistant

• Location: Coventry, CV1
• Day Rate: 95- 100
• Full time- 5 days a week (Term Time Only)
• (Mon & Wed 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) (Tue 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) (Thur & Fri: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Start Date: 06/01/2025

LTF Recruitment are on the search for a caring, friendly, and nurturing teaching assistant, to support children across Reception. The school is looking for someone adaptable and feels comfortable supporting on a whole class basis, small group & 1:1 basis. The role is based at a 'OFSTED' Good rated Primary School in Central Coventry and offered on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning in the classroom
• Ensuring all children and provided with a safe environment to learn in
• Running phonics sessions in the class
• Supporting pupils with SEN

Who we are looking for:

• Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Must have experience working within a childcare or Primary setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum
• Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
• Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils.
• Experience working with children with SEN.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
