Overview

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Coventry on a contract basis. You will play a critical role in designing electrical systems for our process equipment, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Design and implement electrical systems for process equipment installations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure designs are integrated seamlessly.
• Perform design calculations and select appropriate electrical components.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Person

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a focus on AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and industry standards.
• Experience in designing electrical systems for process equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a project-based environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Remuneration

• Competitive hourly rate of 25 - 35, based on experience.
• Opportunity to work on exciting projects in a dynamic and growing company.
• Flexible contract duration of 3-6 months, with potential for extension.
• Position is outside IR35, providing greater take-home pay potential.
