We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive one-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Islington. This school offers stunning facilities and fosters a rich, fulfilling teaching and learning environment.

Role Details:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Pay Rate: 90- 100 per day (depending on experience) with a pay rise after 12 weeks
• Contract Type: Long-term, full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30 am-4:00 pm)
• Location: Islington, London

Responsibilities:

• Work within the school's SEND Unit, providing tailored support to pupils in KS1 and KS2 with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils are engaged and progressing in their learning.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, using your expertise to meet individual learning needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND in a classroom setting.
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
