SEN Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Handsworth, Birmingham

Specialism: Autism Specalist School

Contract: Full-time, January – July 2025

Pay: £155 - £210 per day

CERT Solutions are looking for an SEN Class Teacher for a nurturing and inclusive special school in Handsworth, dedicated to empowering every child to reach their full potential. We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position from January to July 2025.

The Role:

* Plan and deliver creative and individualised lessons for pupils with ASC.

* Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.

* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support.

* Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.

* Experience working with children with ASC or in an SEN setting.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
