The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their vibrant Design and Technology department. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that promote practical skills, creativity, and a solid understanding of food science and nutrition.
Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and experiment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the Design and Technology curriculum.
Participate in food-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in Food Technology education.
