The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their vibrant Humanities department. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons that engage students and encourage a love for historical learning and inquiry.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, debate, and exploration of diverse historical perspectives.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum.
Participate in history-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in History or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching History at the secondary school level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in History education.
