Early Years Practitioner /Learning Assistant - Temp/Contract

The Social Care Community Partnership are looking to recruit an experiences early years practitioner for our client in the Midlothian area. Initially this will be for a period of 2 months with the possibility of extention.

This placement is to start asap and will be for 2 weeks initially. It is for 35 hrs a week.

The work pattern is 8am -4pm Mon - Thurs and 8am - 2pm on a Friday.

Pay - £14.47 ph plus holiday pay which is accrued for when you take a holiday.

Requirements for this role

You need to have stadard grade in literacy and numeracy, or SVq2 in early years or an HNC in Childcare and Education or a similar qualification

be familiar with Child development

Understanding of policies such as the Curriculum for Excellence Early Level, Pre- Birth to Three Positive Outcomes for Scotland's Children and Families, Realising the Ambition, HGIOELC and GIRFEC and Care Inspectorate standards and requirements.

hold first aid and food hygiene certificates
