Job Title: Maintenance Operator / HGV Driver (Highways)

Location: CB2 4 (Sawston)

Duration: 6 Months (with potential to go permanent)

Rate: £16.49 per hour (Nights, Winter Maintenance) + Overtime at Base + 50%

Weekly Standby Retainer: £143 per week (in addition to basic salary)

About the Role:

Join our client, a renowned leader in the UK's Highway Services and Maintenance portfolio, as a Maintenance Operator / HGV Driver. This night-shift role focuses on essential highway maintenance works, including gritting operations, to ensure safe and well-maintained roads during the winter season.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out highway maintenance tasks, including gritting and other essential works.

Operate HGV vehicles efficiently and safely.

Participate in a weekly standby rota to provide emergency cover.

Ensure adherence to all safety and operational standards.Essential Requirements:

HGV Class 2 License (Category C).

Valid Driver CPC Qualification.What We Offer:
