Reception Teaching Assistant

Location: Bedworth, Coventry, CV12

Daily Rate: £90-£105

Start Date: January 2025

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

LTF Recruitment is searching for a caring and nurturing EYFS teaching assistant to join our two-form entry, Ofsted-rated Good school in Bedworth.

The Role:

You will support the teaching and learning of a reception class alongside the teacher. This includes assisting the whole class and providing tailored support to learners with SEMH and SEN needs. The children require a teaching assistant who can combine emotional sensitivity with firm expectations and boundaries.

Backed by a supportive Senior Leadership Team.The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting pupils with complex SEMH and SEN needs.

Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational setting.

Strong behaviour management techniques.

Skilled in 1:1 student support.

Knowledge of the UK EYFS curriculum

Calm, patient, and caring with excellent communication skills.

A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
